A Little Random

This post has some random thoughts and bits, just little blurbs from my life lately.

These are my nails right now, I did them late last night and wanted something funky and bright. It's a blue gradient with gold sparkles on the tip. They are sooo fun and they match my shorts right now. I did the base blue with Pacific Blue from Sally Hansen and the darker blue with Sapphire Siren by Maybelline Color Show, and finally the gold was just "Gold Glitter" from Studio M.

The weather has been so beautiful lately and the cats have been enjoying the open apartment. Mojo always tries to get out, he just loves the outdoors. Opposed to Nemu who's lived outside and knows that home is much better; he never tries to dodge out.

This last picture is in honor of my best friend's birthday! Happy birthday Janelle!! I'm wearing a cupcake shirt just for you. (sorry my face is covered, it was too bright!!)

Just a Couple of Favorites

Today Tim and I moved our cats back home and tomorrow we will move back (from house-sitting). Being back home for a couple of hours made me realize how much I missed it! So in the spirit of cherishing home and such things, here are a few things that I'm loving.

This is such a good book!! I seriously recommend it! I've read it through once and now I flip through again and again and again.

A new purse/clutch. It's so fun and unlike anything else I have. Plus I love Nemu; poor little guy got sick on both ways between our house and our friends' house.

My faaaavorite foundation right now. I'm not well versed in foundations, I generally don't wear any. This one might change that though.

Little Baby Luna

This week Tim and I decided to adopt a new little kitten. It wasn't really planned, we were at PetSmart and looking at all the cats for adoption and got sucked in by their cuteness. And the longer we stood there, the more we convinced ourselves that now would be the best time to get a new cat. Also, after taking in Nemu when he was six months old, we knew we wanted a young kitten to make training easier. So, I introduce to you, little (3 month old) Luna!

Mojo and Nemu have handled the new addition well. In fact, this morning Nemu was chasing her and playing with her. He had been a little unsure of what to do with her before; he would start to bat at her and then stop and run away. Mojo, on the other hand, just stares at them both, which is pretty normal for him. It's been a lot of fun, the only bad point is that Luna is pretty stinky. I can't image the shelter fed her very good quality food, so I'm hoping the diet change will help. In the mean time I constantly burn a candle to cover the smell and clean the litter boxes more frequently. She's pretty cute, so I can't say that I mind.

My Life Lately

While I'm getting the MyGlam post ready I wanted to share a few pictures from this week with all of you. Our apartment has been pretty hot lately and my desk is in the hottest corner, or at least it feels like it. So, when I hit a couple of bumps with Photoshop (for the MyGlam post) it felt like a way bigger problem than it was. Now the air conditioning is on and I can get back to work.

Inspiration For Your Thursday

This week has had its highs and lows and not much in between. These kinds of weeks leave me with such mixed feelings in the end, but it's always nice to reach the end. Some of the high points have been with my cats, which honestly feels a little funny to say. But, this semester I don't have any morning classes so I start my day with a cup of coffee and checking blogs on the couch. Nemu is particularly cuddley this time in the morning, so he always ends up napping on my tummy. It is so adorable! So this time I took some pictures to share and they turned out sooo cute! I have to admit, I'm in love with the pink tint...
